Patients who have an ulcer, bleeding problems, or black or bloody stool should not use GASTROVOLTM.

Use in patients with fever, mucus in the stool, diabetes, gout, arthritis, or conditions requiring anticoagulation medication is up to the individual judgment of the clinician.

Patients should be advised to seek medical consultation if:
• their symptoms worsen, come back, or last for more than 2 weeks;
• they encounter hearing loss, ringing, or buzzing in the ears; or
• their diarrhea persists for more than 2 days, worsens, or is accompanied by a fever.
